About Esther

I am a painter based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A graduate of Oklahoma State University (BA Art Education), my artistic vision deepened during a transformative semester in Florence, Italy, where my passion for landscape painting flourished.

I taught secondary art education for 25 years and painted for joy as my schedule allowed. In 2022, I left teaching to pursue my passion full-time. My studio practice spans oil and acrylic painting.

My subjects range from landscapes and botanical forms to abstracted landscapes that blur the line between memory and place. I paint nature’s beauty to create and share a connection with it.

And I aim to raise awareness and advocacy for the preservation of our delicate ecosystem we should be desperately seeking to protect.
